The Housing Authority of the City of Erie (HACE) exists to provide safe, decent, and affordable housing for lower-income families, elderly and persons with disabilities; and to foster among the residents we serve economic self-sufficiency, and a sense of community and pride in the neighborhoods where they reside. It’s not just about housing, mortar, and bricks. It’s about education, jobs, recreation, health, and a whole host of services we provide for our residents. It’s about people.
