Canadian Rubber Testing and Development is a consulting and independent technology laboratory that conducts research on rubber compound formulation and product development. Consulting research focuses on mixing and vulcanization optimization for the development of Chlorosulfonated polyethylene (Hypalon), Ethylene-propylene-diene termonomer (EPDM), Nitrile-Butadiene rubber (NBR), Hydrogenated Nitrile Butadiene Rubber (HNBR), Styrene-Butadiene Rubber (SBR), Natural Rubber (NR), Molded rubber goods, extrusion & roll cover compounds. CRTDL has also developed proprietary processes for de-vulcanization and for the re-use of scrap rubber.
