Welcome to the Chatham-Kent COVID, Cold, and Flu Care Clinic The Chatham-Kent COVID, Cold, and Flu Care Clinic (formally the COVID-19 Assessment Centre) provides two services:Clinical assessments for respiratory illnessCOVID-19 PCR tests to all ages  Both services are available by appointment only.  Walk-ins will be assisted by staff to book the next available appointment slot.   Clinical Assessment Centre (CAC) (Respiratory Clinic for All Ages)Who needs to visit a clinical assessment centre? Please book a clinical assessment if you are suffering from worsening respiratory illness such as COVID-19, cough, cold, or flu-like symptoms. Clinical assessments may include oxygen levels, vitals, risk assessment and could possibly end with clinical directions, prescriptions or a referral for follow-up in the Emergency Department. For individuals with a Family Physician/NP, please contact your physician’s office or family health team FIRST before attending the Assessment Centre for a clinical assessment. The Assessment Centre is not intended for patients with mild COVID-19 symptoms who are self-isolating and self-monitoring at home. It is also not for patients with severe COVID-19 symptoms who should call 911 or go directly to their nearest Emergency Department.Please bring a list of your medication and a list of any important medical conditions to your appointment for a clinical assessment.This clinic is not for booking PCR testing or Pre-Surgical Screening.PCR Testing To be eligible for PCR testing you must meet the provincial testing guideline criteria.  To check your eligibility for a PCR test please go to https://ckphu.com/get-tested/This centre does not provide any testing required for travel or to attend/participate/gain entry to public events (i.e. sporting events, concerts, etc.).  Chatham-Kent Pharmacy locations for travel testing can be found at: https://ckphu.com/get-tested/ Please do not present to the Emergency Department for testing purposes unless you also have an urgent medical concern that cannot be dealt with via your Physician / Nurse Practitioner. Chatham-Kent Clinical and COVID-19 Assessment Centre Details:Location: 10 Grand Ave W., Chatham (Located in the 7/11 plaza)Hours:  9am – 5pm, Days Open: Monday, Wednesday, Friday, and Saturday (Closed Tuesday, Thursday, and Sundays)Ages: All agesParking: Free To book an appointment at the Chatham-Kent COVID-19 Assessment Centre: To book an appointment click the "Book Now" button at the top of this page. Appointments can be made up to 2 weeks out from the current date.  For those who do not have access to technology, an appointment can be booked by calling CKHA’s Registration at 519.436.2556 during the Assessment Centre operating hours. If do not have access to a mobile device, phone and/or computer or have a disability that prevents you from using one of those platforms to book an appointment please come to the Chatham-Kent Clinical and COVID-19 Assessment Centre and we will be happy to book you an appointment. If you need to cancel your appointment, please do so as soon as possible so others can get tested.
